MOTION DETECTOR SECURITY ALARM – STANLEY HOME AUTOMATION.
Motion Detector Security Alarm
- (Motion Detectors) PIRs are the most common motion detector used by security companies today for interior use. But what is a PIR, how does it work, and should they be part of your security system? Good questions, read on for the inside scoop on PIRs.
- A motion detector is a device that contains a physical mechanism or electronic sensor that quantifies motion that can be either integrated with or connected to other devices that alert the user of the presence of a moving object within the field of view.
- The interior motion detector will sense an intruders movement within your home or business. A signal is sent to our 24-Hour Local Monitoring Station, where appropriate action will be taken.

- Burglar (or intrusion), fire, and safety alarms are electronic alarms designed to alert the user to a specific danger. Sensors are connected to a control unit via low-voltage wiring or a narrowband RF signal which is used to interact with a response device.

Well Hello There – What Are You Looking At??
Mobile Surveillance Unit parked at construction site for new Pasadena Fresh & Easy (former Wild Oats, and even before that, Jurgensen’s Grocery in the 80′s/early 90′s?) at the corner of Lake and California.
As I took this shot, I was looking for one of the cameras to turn toward me. I got out of there quickly, for I was afraid I would trigger some kind of motion detector alarm alert/warning thing, cops would come, take my camera, accuse me of threatening the security of the US, etc…
The pole that leads up out of the frame holds about 4 more surveillance cameras. Don’t even think about stealing their rebar.
Dark Alley
MARE ISLAND, VALLEJO, CA — When I found this alleyway at Mare Island, it was totally dark. I walked down to the end of the alley to see if it would be worth lighting up with a big flashlight. When I got to the end I set off a motion detector that had one of those annoying bells that we used to have in highschool for fire alarms. It rang for about five minutes. We took as many shots as we could while we waited for the security guards to show up. But they never showed up. I couldn’t have lit it better, myself
